Free Fire OB46 Update: New Features, Characters, Changes and More

As we already know that Garena tirelessly works to make the Free Fire game, the best in the world. For this purpose they introduce new updates on a regular basis and each update comes with exciting new features. One of such updates is the newly introduced OB46 update. The update was being looked forward to by many Free Fire players and they have been waiting for it anxiously. The most interesting thing about this update in Free Fire is the new character Lila. Besides that many exciting new features and changes have also been introduced. These all features have tested under FF Advance Server.

In this article, we explore the different new features and changes launched by Garena Free Fire as part of the new OB46 update.

The most exciting part of the OB46 update in Garena Free Fire is the addition of a new character named Lila. Being a Gloo Wall Artist she likes to find hidden spots in the city. She possesses some special tactical skills. Her tactical skills are definitely going to make the game even more exciting.

Special Ability – Gloo Strike

Lila is a gloo artist and her special ability is called “Gloo Strike”.  She can use rifles to slow down the enemies and their vehicles. An enemy’s speed will reduce by 10% after being hit by her, on the other hand a vehicle’s speed will reduce by 50% for 3 seconds after being hit by her. She can also freeze up the enemy for 35 seconds if she manages to knock them down while being slowed. She also goes into a 10 second cooldown and also has an extra gloo wall. If you are someone who likes to play in a well planned manner, she might be a good choice for you.

If we look at the new gameplay features introduced in the OB46 update. There is a new feature called the Gloo Nova. This feature is available in both Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) modes. The Gloo Nova offers some new tools and features. Here we discuss these.

Gloo Gadgets

There are up to four Gloo Wall gadgets available in the game now. Each of these gadgets can do something special.

Lavish Gadget

Whenever you put up a Gloo Wall. This gadget offers random rewards. These rewards can include EP, money or other ones.

Wrecking Gadget

This gadget increases damage to Gloo Walls by 50%. Thus it can make them explode or be destroyed, hurting the enemy as a result.

Scanner Gadget

You can use this gadget to scan the nearby enemies. But this happens for a short time.

Defender Gadget

This gadget strengthens your Gloo Wall. It automatically puts up a protective wall in case you get knocked down.

Gloo Arsenals and Gloo Airdrops

This is a time during the game when all arsenals and airdrops will be covered in Gloo. If you want to get them, you will need to break the Gloo Wall around them.

In order to make the game more exciting and interesting for the players, the OB46 update has also introduced a new Clash Squad Ranked Season 26. This season comes with some changes.

• In order to make things more clear, it offers new MVP effects and better enemy outlines.
• The game now becomes more tactical. New limits have been placed to get to high places and new route guidance features have been added.
• It will also offer players cash on their first knock down.

As part of the new OB46 update, Garena Free Fire also added changes to weapons and characters.

Character Reworks

Xayne, Andrew “The Fierce” and Lequeta have got some rework on their skills. This has been done with balance tweaks for D-Bee, K, Antonio, Maro and Orion.

Weapon Adjustment

Scythe has a new charged attack. Performance for weapons like AC80, M4A1, SVD-Y, M60, M24 and AUG.

Buffs

Vector, Double Vector, AK47, Charge Buster and M249 have buffs.

Nerfs

The Woodpecker, Trogon and XM8 have got Nerfs.

Pet Purchases with Gold

This update has made it possible for players to get new pets with gold which is a free currency.

On October 31, 2024, a special in-game event for Diwali and Halloween will be organized for players.
